RE: Hai derz!
Welcome here, and THX for registering !!
Well it is good to see that people like Visual Basic. The best way to learn is using books and asking questions on forums (like this forum). Sooner or later you get into position to answer the questions, and if you know to answer 99% of questions, than you are pro in a certain programming language. So get a good book and start from the beginning, write tutorials if you discover something interesting, make programs on different levels of knowledge, promote your programs (than people usually say that you are good which gives you power to continue) and you are becoming a guru. That would be all, enjoy your stay ! There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line. Oscar Levant There's a fine line between an administrator and black hat hacker. RE: Hai derz!
Welcome! Norway such an interesting place to live! But, I'm going to be honest here...I wouldn't want to code a web browser in Vb -- I'd go for something like C/C++. Since Visual Basic uses an outdated mediocre browser component..It's not really recommended. Because, if you really want to code yourself a legitimate web browser you'll have to code your own java script engine, you'll have to be able to interpret HTML , manage cookies and all that other good stuff. Also, as to where to begin...Vb.net isn't really the best place , at all. I would either try C or Python. They are both pretty great programming languages that teach good habits. Hope I helped

RE: Hai derz!
Welcome. I'd recommend you to start with some simple tasks, so you could later move on onto some complicated programs without any difficulties. Try learning more about some frequently used programming languages rather than sticking to just one like VB. I'm not trying to say that VB is bad but, you might find something you will like more than VB.
That's all from me, if you have more questions regarding programming & stuff, and if I by some accident happen to know the answer to it I would be glad to write it down. And the rest of the guys will help you out as well. ![]()
